Learn what types of payment does Yahoo! Mail Plus accept.
Resolution
Yahoo! Wallet accepts the following types of credit cards:
- Visa
- MasterCard
- Discover
- American Express
In addition to credit cards, Yahoo! Wallet also accepts PayPal payments and debit cards with the Visa or MasterCard logo on them.
Note: We do not accept payment via money orders, cash, or check (except for Rivals). We're also unable to accept prepaid cards as we're unable to verify the billing address with those cards.
Additional Information
Although Yahoo! Wallet allows you to store various types of credit cards, please understand that some services may not accept these cards for the purchase. For example, if you're using Yahoo! Shopping, some of the store Merchants may not allow you to use a certain credit card. Additionally, checks are only accepted for Rivals.com from Yahoo! Sports in the U.S. We highly recommend that you check with their payment policies first, before purchasing the item.
Once you are in the process of creating your Yahoo! Wallet, please make sure that the billing address you enter is the same as the address on your credit card bill. Also, please double-check the expiration date and see if it matches the information on the credit card; and finally, please make sure that you don't enter hyphens as you input your credit card number. These guidelines should be observed in order to avoid receiving error messages during the process.
