This article explains your options for changing your draft time or type in a Public or Pro league, as well as how a commissioner can change these in private leagues.

Public or Pro Leagues

Due to the way managers are placed in to public leagues, you cannot change the draft time/type you've selected.

You can remove your team from the league as long as the deadline for doing so has not passed.

You also can pre-rank players if you might be absent from your draft and the computer will select for you during the draft.

Custom Leagues

The commissioner of the league can change the draft time from the list of available teams and/or type of draft.

To change the draft time or type:

1. Sign in to Yahoo! Fantasy Sports.
2. Select your league name at the right of the page.
3. Click the Commish Tools tab.
4. At the bottom of the page in the "Draft Management" section, click Change Draft Time or Change Draft Type.
