Week 1 scoring deadline for Head-to-Head leagues in Fantasy Baseball
Description
This article explains when a Head-to-Head league has to draft to include Week 1 scoring.
Resolution
The 2013 Major League Baseball season opens on March 31, with the Rangers and Astros playing a Sunday night game.
As a result, Yahoo! Sports has combined this game with Week 1 of the Fantasy Baseball Head-to-Head season, which will run from March 31-April 7.
Head-to-Head leagues that want to include Week 1 scoring will need to complete their drafts by 11:59pm Pacific Time on Saturday, March 30.
Any leagues whose drafts are completed between 12:01am PT on March 31 and 11:59pm PT on April 7 will begin league scoring with Fantasy Week 2 beginning on Monday, April 8.
Leagues that use the Weekly lineup deadline will have two lineup deadlines for Week 1:
- The first weekly deadline will be on March 30th at 11:59 PM PT. This will cover the Rangers-Astros game.
- Please note: Leagues using Weekly rosters must complete their drafts by 11:59pm PT on Friday, March 29 in order to include this game.
-
The second weekly lineup deadline will be on March 31st at 11:59 PM PT. This will cover games played from April 1-7.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to incorporate Week 1 scoring if your league drafted on March 31 or later.
All in-season Head-to-Head leagues will begin scoring during the first full week after the draft has been completed. All Head-to-Head weeks begin on Monday, regardless of whether any games are scheduled on that date.
