Learn how to alert Yahoo! to offensive, abusive, profane, or otherwise inappropriate comments on articles and Message Boards.


Resolution

If you find offensive or inappropriate content on Yahoo! Message Boards or article comments, you can report it easily for review. In general, anywhere you can make a comment on Yahoo!, you will find a link nearby that says either Report Abuse or Report.  Clicking on one of these links will take you to a form where you can tell Yahoo! you're found an abusive comment.

To report abuse on Yahoo! Fantasy Sports Message Boards, do the following:

  1. From your fantasy sports Message Board, go to the message in question.

  1. Hover the article you want to report.  A Flag icon will appear, click the Flag icon.
  2. Click Report Abuse.

  1. You will see a message box stating that you have successfully reported the abuse.

There is nothing else you will need to do, as this process will send a message to the Yahoo! abuse team asking them to check that specific post for a violation of the Terms of Service.
   
To report abuse in an article comment:

  •  Click Report Abuse directly above the comment.
    Reporting abuse in an article, click on "Report Abuse."

 To reports abuse on Citizen Sports Pick'em games Posts or Discussion boards:

  • Click Report directly beneath the post.

    Click Report

  • Since Yahoo! does not release the results of their inquiries, you will not be notified of the outcome of the investigation.
  • Reports of abuse are not revealed to the message board.
