This help article provides steps for increasing the size of print when isn't big enough and steps for increasing the zoom in Yahoo!.


Resolution

You can change the font size your browser uses to display webpages. The method can vary with each browser and even between different versions of the same browser.

If you have a newer browser, please try these quick methods first:

  • Hold down the Control (Ctrl) key on your keyboard, then move the scroll wheel on your mouse.
  • Another quick method to zoom your browser's display size is to press the Ctrl + and Ctrl - keyboard combinations.

If the quick methods didn't work, follow the instructions for your browser below.

Note: If you use a different browser than the ones listed here, please refer to the help or support resources available for your browser to adjust your font size or zoom settings.

Internet Explorer 6

  1. Launch Internet Explorer.
  2. On the browser's menu bar, select the View menu | select the Text Size option.
  3. Select your desired font size.

Internet Explorer 7

  1. Launch Internet Explorer.
  2. On the browser's menu bar, select the Page menu | select the Text Size option.
  3. Select your desired font size.
  •  Zoom level: If the font is still too small, you can go back to the Page menu, select Zoom, and try adjusting the using the zoom level.

Internet Explorer 8 and above

  1. Launch Internet Explorer.
  2. On the browser's menu bar, select the View menu | select the Text Size option.
  3. Select your desired font size. (The default size is medium.)

Firefox 2

  1. Launch Firefox.
  2. On the browser's menu bar, select the View menu | select the Text Size option.
  3. Select either:
  •    Increase
  •    Decrease

Firefox 3 and above

  1. Launch Firefox.
  2. On the browser's menu bar, select the View menu | select the Zoom option.
  3. Select Zoom In or Zoom Out to make the font size larger or smaller.

Google Chrome

  1. Launch Google Chrome.
  2. On the browser's menu bar, select the "tools" menu (wrench icon) | select the Zoom option.
  3. Adjust the settings in this menu to make the font larger or smaller.

Safari

  1. Launch Safari.
  2. Select the Display a menu for the current page button (page icon) in the top-right corner.
  3. Highlight the Zoom option.
  •    By adjusting the settings in this menu, you can make the font larger or smaller.
