Protecting yourself against threats in Yahoo!7 Messenger

Description

This article provides guidance for users who experience threatening contacts while using Yahoo!7 Messenger.

Resolution

There are a couple of steps you can take to protect yourself from harassment when using Yahoo!7 Messenger.

First, if you feel threatened by the person harassing you, we suggest you contact your local law enforcement immediately and explain the situation to them. You should be able to find the phone number for your local law enforcement agency (Police or Sheriff's Department) in your local phone book or by using Yahoo!7 Directory Search.

Second, we suggest placing the person who is conducting the harassment on your ignore list.
