Yahoo! Messenger 10 and earlier not supported


Resolution

Technical support for Yahoo! Messenger 10 and earlier is no longer offered by Yahoo! Customer Care. If you are using an older version of Yahoo! Messenger, upgrading to the latest version of Yahoo! Messenger is recommended.

To find out which version of Yahoo! Messenger you are currently using:

  1. In Yahoo! Messenger, click the Help | About Yahoo! Messenger.
  2. The version number will be displayed on this screen as a series of numbers (e.g., "Yahoo! Messenger (9.0.0.1751-us)"). Your current version is the number before the first decimal (e.g., "9").
