If you forget the password for your Yahoo! account, visit the Yahoo! password helper.

• To ensure the security of your account, please understand that we cannot reset your password if you are unable to verify your identity correctly.
• Once the password helper has verified your identity, a "Reset Your Password" link will be sent to your alternate email address.
  - If you do not have an alternate email address on file, you can verify your idenity using either your mobile phone (or other SMS device), or answering the security question you have on the account.
• For the protection of your account information, we do not have access to passwords. For this reason, we are unable to remind you of or verify your current or previous password.

Once your password is restored, go to your Account Info page and make sure your personal information is up-to-date, including the contact information under "Choose how Yahoo! contacts you".  If you have not entered your mobile phone number, add it now. This will make it much easier to verify your identity and recover your password, should this happen in the future.
