How to use PC-to-PC calling

PC-to-PC calling is a free feature that allows you to place a call from your computer to another computer through Yahoo! Messenger.
To place a free PC-to-PC call to another Yahoo! Messenger user, you have a choice of three methods:
METHOD 1 - If you wish to call someone on your Messenger List:
- Roll your mouse over the contact's name
- Click the Phone icon that appears to the right of their name
- When you're done talking, click the Hang Up button.
METHOD 2 - Using the Actions menu to use Call Computer
- Click the Actions menu and select Call Computer
- The Call Computer dialog box will appear, choose the appropriate tab:
- For contacts on your Messenger List, click the My Contacts tab and then select the person's name
- For someone not on your Messenger List, click the Other Contact tab and then enter the person's Yahoo! ID
- Click OK
- When you're done talking, click the Hang Up button
METHOD 3: During an instant message conversation:
- Start an instant message conversation with someone
- Click the Call button in the toolbar of your IM window
- When you're done talking, click the Hang Up button.
IMPORTANT: No 911 or other emergency calling services are available on Yahoo! Messenger at this time.
Please inform anyone using your Yahoo! Messenger that 911 or other emergency calling services are not available, and that they must call 911 or other relevant emergency calling services through their traditional telephone or mobile carrier.
