How to edit credit card information

Learn how to change your Yahoo! Wallet credit card information with or without the old credit card number.


Resolution

To edit your credit card information in your Yahoo! Wallet:

  1. Go to your Yahoo! Wallet and sign in with your Yahoo! ID and password.
    - Note: If you are already signed in you will be asked to sign in again to confirm your identity.
    - The "Yahoo! Wallet" page opens.
  2. In the Payment Method tab, look to the right of the card you wish to change and click Edit
  3. You will be prompted to verify the card number.
  4. A screen will pop-up. You should be able to make your changes.
  5. Select Continue to save your changes.

Note: If you no longer have the credit card that is currently associated with your Yahoo! Premium service, you will not be able to edit the payment method in your Yahoo! Wallet. Instead, you will need to add a new credit card, then associate that with your ongoing service using the steps below.

To add a credit card to your Yahoo! Wallet:

  1. Go to your Yahoo! Wallet, and sign in with your Yahoo! ID and password.
    - If you have an existing Yahoo! Wallet, you will see the "Payment Information" page.
  2. Select Add payment method.
  3. Add your payment information.
  4. Select Continue.

To change a credit card in your Yahoo! Wallet that is associated with an active order:

  1. Go to your Yahoo! Wallet, and sign in with your Yahoo! ID and password.
  2. Ensure that you are on the Products & Services page.
  3. Select the product or service that you want to update payment for.
  4. Select Update Payment Method.
  5. Choose the card that you wish to use as the payment method.
  6. Select Continue.

Note: Any changes that you make to your credit card information will automatically be applied to all of your future payments for all of your Yahoo! Premium Services.
