Unable to edit or delete registered mobile number
This article describes what to do if you are unable to remove or unregister your mobile number in Yahoo! Messenger.
When editing your mobile number, you may see the message, "You have no registered mobile number for SMS Forwarding."
We are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, as a possible solution, please sign out of Yahoo! Messenger and sign in again.
If the issue continues, contact us using the Contact Yahoo! button in the lower right corner. For the quickest possible resolution, provide the following details:
- Yahoo! ID
- Mobile number displaying in Yahoo! Messenger
- Information displaying on the edit number page
- Your wireless carrier (e.g., AT&T, Verizon, etc.)
- Your geographic location (i.e., country)
