This document describes how to call your friend's computer.

To place a free PC-to-PC call to another Yahoo!7 Messenger customer, you have a choice of three methods:

Method 1: If you wish to call someone on your Messenger List:

1. Roll your mouse over the contact's name.
2. Click the Phone icon that appears to the right of their name, then you'll hear a phone ringing.
3. When you're done talking, click Hang Up for Yahoo!7 Messenger 8 and End Call for Yahoo!7 Messenger 9.

Method 2: Using the "Actions" menu to use "Call Computer":

1. Click the Actions menu and select Call Computer.
2. The "Call Computer" dialog box will appear, choose the appropriate tab:
   • For contacts on your Messenger List, click the My Contacts tab and then select the contact's name.
   • For someone not on your Messenger List, click the Other Contact tab and then enter the contact's Yahoo!7 ID.
3. Click OK, then you'll hear a phone ringing.
4. When you're done talking, click Hang Up for Yahoo! Messenger 8 and End Call for Yahoo!7 Messenger 9.

Method 3: During an instant message conversation:

1. Start an instant message conversation with someone.
2. Click the Call button in the toolbar of your IM window, then you'll hear a phone ringing.
3. When you're done talking, click Hang Up for Yahoo!7 Messenger 8 and End Call for Yahoo!7 Messenger 9.

Important: No 911 or other emergency calling services are available on Yahoo!7 Messenger at this time.

Please inform anyone using your Yahoo!7 Messenger that 911 or other emergency calling services are not available, and that they must call 911 or other relevant emergency calling services through their traditional telephone or mobile carrier.
