How to view or clear conversation history on iOS

This help article explains how to view or delete the Conversation History or Message Archive in Yahoo! Messenger for iDevices (iPhone, iPad, iPod)
Resolution
Note: Please be sure you have updated to the latest version of Yahoo! Messenger for iOS.
To view the Conversation History in Yahoo! Messenger for iOS:
- Tap the Messages icon at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap on a contact's name to view an archived conversation.
To clear the Conversation History in Yahoo! Messenger for iOS:
- From within the contact's name tap the Contact Details icon at the top, right corner. The icon looks like a white silhouette.
- Tap Clear Conversation.
Note: If you want to clear the list of names remaining in the Messages tab, reset the Yahoo! Messenger app data (step 4 in the linked article).
Additional Information
If you are using the default Mail application on the iPhone or an iPad and you are using Yahoo! Mail as your default mail provider, you may see a folder labeled "Y! Conversations." This folder will contain your Yahoo! Messenger conversation history. In order to remove the conversations from this folder, please review the the steps above.
