Learn how to change or update the login password for mobile registered Yahoo! accounts.

Although most smartphones have a browser powerful enough to follow the steps below directly the device, we recommend that you make any changes to your password from a desktop computer or laptop (Mac or PC). Once the password is changed, please remember that your Yahoo! password will apply to your entire Yahoo! account. This means that it will be valid not only for Yahoo! Mail  but also for all of Yahoo!'s Mobile services. Please be sure to make the necessary updates on your mobile device as well.

To change your password:

1. Sign in at:  http://www.yahoo.com/
2. Click your name in the upper-right portion of the page and then click Account information. A new page will load; re-enter your current password to continue.
3. Under the Sign in and Security section, click Change Your Password, follow the remaining steps, and click Save when you are finished.
