How to delete Messenger archives from your PC

Description

This document provides steps for clearing your saved message history in Yahoo! Messenger 8,9, and 10.


Resolution

Here's how to delete your archives:

  1. Click the Contacts menu in Yahoo! Messenger.
  2. Select Message Archive.
  3. A new window called Message Archive for your ID will appear.
  4. Select the Messages folder and then click the X button to delete your complete Message Archive, or select the desired folder and then click the X button to selectively delete.
