This article describes how to access the Yahoo!7 Messenger Conversation History though Yahoo!7 Mail.

Users may find this content useful when:

• A user has downgraded from Messenger 11 to an earlier version of Messenger and needs access to their archives that are stored on the server.
• Users are unable to access the archives through Yahoo!7 Messenger for some techinical reason.

To access Conversation History using Yahoo!7 Mail Classic:

1. Sign in to Yahoo!7 Mail.
2. In the "Mail Search" field, enter the Yahoo!7 ID, name, or string of the conversation that you would like to find and click Mail Search.
3. Once the search is complete, you can use the options under "Refine Results" on the left side of the page to get more precise results.
4. Click the @C@Chats folder from the options to display all of the Yahoo!7 Messenger archives.

To access Conversation History using Yahoo!7 Mail:

1. Sign in to Yahoo!7 Mail.
2. Click the Conversations folder that appears on the left side of the page.

If you are using the default mail application on the iPhone or an iPad and you are using Yahoo!7 Mail as your default mail provider, you may see a folder labeled Y! Conversations. This folder will contain your Yahoo!7 Messenger conversation history.
