Adding friends in IntoNow

Resolution

There are several ways to find and connect with your friends in IntoNow:

  • From the App - if you would like to connect with users who watch the same shows as you, you can do so from the show page:
    1. Tap on the text, X  friends | XXX others watched this show and you'll be taken to the full list of people who watch this show.
    2. Select whom you want to add as a friend.
    3. On the next screen tap the + icon (Add as friend button in Android) near the selected friend's name.
  • Via Facebook:
    1. Tap the add friend icon in the menu bar.
    2. Tap Facebook to see a list of Facebook friends who currently use this app and the option to invite the rest.
  • Via Twitter
    1. Tap the add friend icon in the menu bar.
    2. Tap Twitter, and you’ll be able to see how many of your Twitter contacts are currently using the app.
  • Via Gmail (iOS only)
    1. Tap the add friend icon in the menu bar.
    2. Tap Gmail, and you’ll be able to see how many of your Gmail contacts are currently using the app.
  • Via Address book (iOS only)
    1. Tap the add friend icon in the menu bar.
    2. Tap Address book, and you’ll be able to see how many of your contacts are currently using the app.  From here, you can also send an invitation to friends whom you think might enjoy IntoNow.
  • Search by name
    1. Tap the add friend icon in the menu bar.
    2. Tap search by name, and you’ll be able to find friends who are already using the app.
  • Invite friends by email (iOS only)
    1. Tap the add friend icon in the menu bar.
    2. Tap Invite friends by email.
    3. Follow the on-screen instructions in the pop-over window.
