Description

This article explains steps for solving problems with the Yahoo! Mobile Finance application.

Resolution

If your Yahoo! Mobile Finance application is not working as intended, you can try the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Please make sure you have downloaded the latest version of the application to your mobile device. By verifying you have the latest version, this will ensure that you have the most complete version which usually includes fixes to known issues and/or product feature additions.
  2. Verify that your password and Yahoo! ID do not contain any special characters. At times, mobile devices can experience compatibility limits with passwords that contain special characters. If your password contains any special characters, you can always log in to a desktop computer (PC or MAC) and change your Yahoo! password so to something that's more compatible but still safe and secure.
  3. Uninstall the application from your device. After you have uninstalled the application, please reboot your phone; this can be done by turning your device off and removing the battery (if applicable). After you have finished rebooting your phone, please reinstall the application.
  4. For iPhone users: We also recommend that you visit Apple Support - iPhone Troubleshooting Assistant. By going through the steps via the assistant, it will instruct you how to reboot your iPhone and will resolve common syncing and network issues that may interfere with the functionality of the Mobile Finance app.
