Learn how to sync your Yahoo! Contacts with an Android device using the Yahoo! Mail app for Android.

To sync your Yahoo! Contacts with an Android device, you must first install the Yahoo! Mail app for Android.

Installing the Yahoo! Mail app for Android:

1. Tap the Google Play app on your Android device.
2. Tap Search and enter "Yahoo! Mail"
3. Tap Yahoo! Mail (from Yahoo! Inc).
4. Tap Download, then follow the installation instructions.

Setting up your initial sync preference:

1. Open the Yahoo! Mail app for Android.
2. Enter your Yahoo! ID and password.
   Note: Tap Get a New Yahoo! ID if you do not already have a Yahoo! Mail account.
3. Tap Add Account.
   --A "Synch contacts" page with appear.
4. Check or Uncheck Enable Sync.
5. Tap Continue to sync your Yahoo! Contacts with your Android device.

Editing your sync preference:

1. On your Android device, go to Settings.
2. Tap Accounts & Sync.
3. Tap your Yahoo! Account.
4. Check or Uncheck Sync Contacts.

Note: Yahoo! Contacts can only be modified on an Android device through the Yahoo! Contacts mobile site.
