Resolution

Some users may experience Push mail notification failure from their iOS devices. Here are some helpful suggestions to try if you are not receiving Push notifications.

First, make sure that Push is enabled on your iOS device.

To check if Push is enabled:

  1. Tap the Settings icon.
  2. Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendar.
  3. Tap Fetch New Data.
  4. Make sure Push is ON.
  5. Tap Advanced.
  6. Make sure your Yahoo! account listed here is set to Push.
If you have confirmed that push is enabled for your device, please work through the steps in Troubleshooting for Yahoo! Mail on iPhone and Troubleshooting password problems with your iPhone. While the articles indicate they are for the iPhone, the steps are accurate for all iOS devices. This will ensure your issue receiving push notifications is not related to wider problem using Yahoo!
