This article describes how and where to obtain maps for areas outside of the United States and Canada. 

To obtain the most accurate maps and directions for countries outside of the country, we encourage you to visit the Yahoo! Maps site for the country you’re in – or one near it. While each Yahoo! Maps site can provide directions for anywhere in the world, the data is most accurate on the host country’s website. So if you’re looking for directions in Germany, you will find the best maps using the Yahoo! Germany site, http://de.maps.yahoo.com.

Don’t worry if you don’t speak German or Italian! Our Yahoo! Maps sites are available in five languages: English, Spanish, French, Italian, and German. Here is a complete list of Yahoo! Maps sites:

To change the default language for one of these sites, click on Language in the upper right corner of the window, just above the map, and select the desired language. On non-English Yahoo! sites, you will see the country’s flag in the upper right corner instead of the word “Language.” Click on the flag and then switch to the desired language. Additionally, Yahoo! and its affiliates offer the maps application for the following countries:
