Looking up a location by longitude and lattitude

If you know of a location, but need to get the latitude and longitude coordinates, here is how to do it:

  1. In the Search Maps window, enter the location you are looking for.
  2. Make sure the location is correct. If it is:
  3. Look in the address bar. The latitude and longitude are both contained within the URL:
  • Attitude will follow "lat="
  • Longitude will follow "lon="
