How to setup Yahoo!7 Mail on the Nook Tablet with POP access
Resolution
To configure POP access for Yahoo!7 Mail on the Nook Tablet:
- Tap the Email application to launch it and then type the full Email Address (user@domain.com) and Password.
- Tap Manual Setup from the lower-left section.
- Tap POP3.
- Type the following settings:
- POP3 Server: pop.mail.yahoo.com
- Port: 995
- Security type: SSL
- Delete email from server: When I delete from Inbox
- Tap Next.
- Type the following settings:
- SMTP server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
- Port: 465
- Security type: SSL
- Check Require sign-in, then tap Next.
- Select a frequency, such as Every 30 minutes.
- Check Notify me when email arrives, then tap Next.
- Type an Account Name (such as Yahoo!7 Mail). Type the name that will appear on outgoing messages
- Tap Done.
Messages from the Yahoo!7 Mail account will now begin to download to the application and you may send and receive emails on the device.
