Can I access Yahoo! Mail from another computer?
Description
This article describes how Yahoo! Mail and an account's contents are stored online, allowing the account to be accessed from any computer.
Resolution
Yahoo! Mail stores its data, such as emails, contacts and conversations, online. As the account's content is stored on the internet, you can use your Yahoo! Mail account on any computer with an Internet connection. This lets you send and retrieve email from anywhere in the world.
If you want to access your Yahoo! Mail account from a computer, just open the browser and go to Yahoo! Mail.
Sign in using your Yahoo! ID and password. All of your folders, messages, and contacts will appear exactly as they always do.
If you're worried about the security of your account, remember that the contents of your account are stored on Yahoo!'s computers, so they won't be left on the hard drive of the computer that you are using. However, at the end of your session, be sure to click the Sign Out link in the upper-left area of the page.
If you are having difficulty logging in to Mail, we recommend you visit our Yahoo! Password Helper to reset or recover your password.
