How to make the preview pane display

In Yahoo! Mail, the preview window does not display by default. You can easily change this setting, though, if you prefer to have the ability to preview emails before you open them. There are two ways to do so:

From your Inbox:

1. Sign in to Yahoo! Mail and select the Inbox tab.
2. At the top of your Inbox, click the "switch view" icon (this is the second button from the right, located between the folder icon and the gear icon).
3. Select In Scrolling List (Show Preview).
   - Note: To return to the default view, select In Scrolling List (Hide Preview).

From the Options menu:

1. Sign in to Yahoo! Mail.
2. Click the Options menu in the upper-left corner, and select Mail Options from the pull-down list.
3. In the General options section, under "Behavior," select In a scrolling list (show Preview Pane).
   - Note: To return to the default view, select In a scrolling list (hide Preview Pane).
4. Click Save in the upper part of the Mail Options window.
