Attaching files to an email
Description
You can attach up to 50 files to an email message including photos, audio files, spreadsheets, and word processor documents as long as you keep the total size of your message under 25 MB. To send files larger than 25 MB, see attaching large files using Dropbox.
Resolution
- In the compose page of Yahoo! Mail, click the paperclip icon that appears under the "Subject" box.

A selection window opens that varies depending on the operating system and browser you're using.
- In the selection window, find and select one or more files and then click Open (or the appropriate button for your window).
As Yahoo! Mail attaches files, the number of attachments and the total size of your message appear below the formatting bar.

Tip: To select multiple files, Ctrl+click each file or Shift+click the first and last file to include all files in between.
- To upload additional files, repeat steps 1 and 2.
- If you want to remove an attachment, place the cursor over the attachment and select Remove from the displayed menu, or click Remove All above the attachments to remove all of the attachments.

Tip: To see the individual attachments, click the down arrow to the left of the Attachment information.
