Downloading and saving attachments

You can download email attachments to your computer or save them to your Dropbox account, in the cloud.

To save attachments to your computer, open the email with attachments:
To download one attachment:
- Under the attachment thumbnail, click Save.
- Select Save to my computer.-The attachment is scanned for viruses, and your browser prompts you to open or download it.
Note: Clicking image files with thumbnail previews opens the slideshow view where you can choose to download the image files.
To download all attachments:
- Above the attachments, click Save all to.
- Select Save all to my computer.
-The attachments are scanned for viruses, and your browser prompts you to open or download them.
Note: You may not see the "Save all to my computer" option in every email with multiple attachments. Sometimes the manner in which a file is named prevents it from being grouped with other files. In this case, it is necessary to download attachments individually.
To save attachments to Dropbox: open the email with the attachment(s):
- If the email includes only file attachments:
- Under the attachment thumbnail, click Save.
- Select Save to Dropbox.
- If there are multiple attachments: above the attachment thumbnails, click Save all to Dropbox.
To view and download files shared via Dropbox:
- If the email sender has included one or more links to files on Dropbox, you may click the inserted Dropbox links and view the files on Dropbox.
-While viewing a file on Dropbox, click Download to save the file to your computer.
Note: You do not need a Dropbox account to view and download files sent via inserted Dropbox links in Yahoo! Mail.
