This article describes how to add a contact, or multiple contacts, to lists in Yahoo! Contacts.

There are two ways to add a contact to a list or lists, either individually or by adding multiple contacts to a list at one time.

To add one contact to a list:

1. In your Yahoo! Contacts, click a contact to place a checkmark in it.
2. Click Assign to Lists, located above the contact's name.
3. Select the list(s) in the box that is displayed.
4. Click Done to save.

To add multiple contacts to a list:

1. In Yahoo! Contacts, click to place a checkmark in each contact you wish to work with.
2. When all contacts you will be assigning to a list are checkmarked, click the Assign to Lists button located below and to the right of the Actions button.
3. Click any and all relevant lists you wish to add these contacts to.
4. Click Done to save.
