How to properly set up syncing for an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch running iOS 5 or later.

If you recently upgraded to iOS 5 from iOS 4 or earlier, we recommend that you remove any existing CardDAV or CalDAV accounts from the device before setting up syncing. If you leave these on your device, they may cause problems with syncing. If you're setting up syncing for the first time, or on a new device, proceed to Step 2.

Step 1: To remove existing Yahoo!7 CardDAV or CalDAV accounts from your iOS device:

1. Go to your iOS device's "Settings" application.
2. Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
3. Tap Yahoo!7 - Contacts or Yahoo!7 - Calendar.
4. Tap Delete Account.
5. Tap Delete Account again to confirm deletion.

Step 2: To sync your Yahoo!7 Calendar and Yahoo!7 Contacts with your iOS device (iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad):

1. Go to your iOS device's "Settings" application.
2. Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
3. Tap Add Account and then tap Yahoo!7.
   - You may already have a Yahoo!7 Mail, Contacts, Reminders, or Notes account set up. If so just tap it under the accounts section.
4. Enter your name, Yahoo!7 e-Mail address, and password.
   - You do not need to change anything in the "Description" field unless you wish to.
5. Tap Next, in the upper right corner when you have entered the information.
   - Yahoo!7 will verify your account information.
6. Make sure to tap each of the services you want to sync to in order to turn them to the "ON" position:
   - Mail
   - Contacts
   - Calendars
   - Reminders
   - Notes
7. Tap Save in the upper right corner.
8. While still in the "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" settings section, set the "Fetch New Data" option to: every 15 minutes (or whatever time increment you desire).
   - You may leave the "Push" setting on or turn it off as it is not relevant to Yahoo!7 services.
9. Important: If you have set up multiple email accounts on your iOS device, please go to the "Contacts" section at the bottom of the "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" section and verify that the "Default Account" account setting is set to Yahoo!7.
   - This will ensure proper syncing between your iOS device's Contacts and Yahoo!7 Contacts.
   - In the future, you can come back to the "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" section to disable syncing for all Yahoo!7 services, specific Yahoo!7 services, or to delete your Yahoo!7 account.
