This article describes how often you can send SMS messages from Yahoo! Mail or Yahoo! Messenger to a single device.

You can send up to four text messages to a mobile device for every one response you receive from the same device.

If your recipient hasn't responded to your texts, you will receive one or the following warning messages:

• "Your friend must respond to one of your messages before you can send more"
• "This number has chosen not to receive any text messages."

If the user is unable to respond to the messages you have already sent, the recipient or mobile owner may reset their phone by sending the following command to 92466:

• "Reset YahooID" (where "YahooID" is the Yahoo! ID the person would like to unblock from sending text messages).

This will allow you to send more messages to that particular mobile device.
