Subscribing to another calendar

Resolution

Learn the different ways to subscribe to another person's calendar.

Subscribed calendar types include:

  • A Yahoo! Calendar that has been publicly shared by someone.
  • Someone has shared their Yahoo! Calendar with you.
  • Calendars offered by other providers in the iCalendar ".ics" format.
  • Subscribed calendars provided by Yahoo! Calendar, including holiday and international calendars.

Choose a subscribing method:

  • When subscribing to someone else's calendar:
    • You can add their calendar to your Yahoo! Calendar using one of these methods.
      - Use "Method A" when another Yahoo! Calendar user has publicly shared their Yahoo! Calendar: You will need the Yahoo! user's Yahoo! email address and their calendar must already be made public.

      - Use "Method C" to subscribe to a non-Yahoo! Calendar: You will need the calendar's web address (or "URL") that is a ".ics" iCalendar link.
