Setting up your Inbox to show emails from people on my contact list only?

Resolution

Now with Yahoo! Mail you can see the emails from the people who matter most to you - those that you have added to your contact list.

Here’s how:

  1. From any folder (including your Inbox), you will see a set of View links located directly above the Delete and Spam buttons at the top of the screen.
  2. Click From Contacts.

That’s it! Now your Inbox or folder view will now only show the emails from people you have added to your contact list. Of course, we will always show you a preview of the unread emails from your Contacts right after you sign in to help you see the important emails first.

By the way, if you want even finer control of what emails appear in your Inbox, you can click From Connections to only see emails from Connections (usually friends and family). Click here to learn more about the benefits of connecting with friends and family.

You also create filters to help you manage your Inbox.
