Check the Android OS (Operating System) version:
- Check for an update -- An operating system update may resolve your issue. Be sure that your device is using the most current version of Android.
--Contact your mobile carrier for further assistance with operating system updates. - Versions supported -- The Yahoo! Mail Android App supports devices running Android OS 2.1 (Eclair) and higher.
- If the time on your device is not correct, it can interfere with some of the app features.

Clear corrupted account settings on your device:
You may need to remove, then re-add your Yahoo! Mail account to your device if they have become corrupted.
To remove an account:
- Launch the Yahoo! Mail app for Android.
- Tap Menu in the top left.
- Select Accounts.
- Check the box for the account you want to remove.
- Tap the Trash Can icon.
- Tap Delete.
To add an account:
