Editing a group's description and appearance

This article describes how a moderator can edit the following sections in their group:
- Web Address/Group name
- Description
- Related Link
- Primary Language
- Listing Type
- Category
- Colors and Photo

Owners and moderators with the privilege to change group settings can modify the "Description & Appearance" settings on a group's Management page. The Management page enables moderators to change information or policies associated with a group.
To change a group's "Description & Appearance" settings:
- Click Management on the left side of any group page.
- Under "Group Settings," click Description & Appearance.
- Click edit next to the setting that you wish to update. Options include:
- Web Address
- Description
- Category
- Colors
- Photo
- Make the desired changes.
- Click Save Changes.
Note: You must be a group owner or a moderator with the privilege to change group settings to edit these settings. If you are a moderator and you do not see the "edit" link described in the steps above, the group owner has not given you permission to change group settings. In this event, you will need to contact the owner to request that they make the desired changes or assign you the privilege to do so.
