This article explains how to protect your privacy by offering several methods to hide profile information from your group.

You can hide information in your Yahoo! profile from members of your group. We offer a few options for how to hide your information, you can:

• Hide all of your information
• Some of your information
• Select who to hide it from

To select which information on your profile that will be viewable to others, adjust the settings in your Yahoo! Profile.

How to adjust your settings using Yahoo! Profile:

1. Sign in to Yahoo! Profile.
2. Select Edit (pencil icon) in the corner.
3. By using the slider buttons, you can manage your privacy settings from here.
4. Select Save.

Others can now view the Yahoo! Profile information you want to share.

• Once you have made your profile both unhidden and searchable, your profile information should appear next to your member name on the Members page.

Note: There may be a short delay between the time when you make the update and when your information appears.

Creating an alias to use with your Yahoo! Profile account:

• You can choose to keep your profile accessible to other users, but just not group members.
• To do this, you can create an alias to use for your Yahoo! account.

• You'll be able to create a new alias and display it to your group in lieu of the profile associated with your Yahoo! ID.
