This article provides information on how to remove an alternate email address from your Yahoo! account, as well as how to link your email address to a different Yahoo! ID using the Membership Wizard.   
 

To remove an email address from your Yahoo! Groups account, the address must be removed from the Manage your email addresses section of your Yahoo! Account Information page. (Note: You will be prompted to re-enter your password.)

To remove an email address:

1. Click on the Delete link to the right of the email address you wish to remove.
2. Click on the Delete Now link to confirm your delete email address request.

Remember that any groups you subscribed to using the address will no longer be accessible until the address is linked to a Yahoo! ID.

To change the Yahoo! ID that the email address is linked to, simply sign in with the correct Yahoo! ID and use the Membership Wizard to add the email address to your account. The wizard will walk you through all necessary steps to change or add an email address to your account.
