Adding RSS content

Learn how to track RSS feeds containing frequently changing content from your My Yahoo! page.
Resolution
There are two ways to find out if a site has an RSS feed:
- You see the acronym RSS or the
symbol someplace on the site's pages. - You find the RSS feed by searching for it in the My Yahoo! content gallery.
To add an RSS feed from a web site's page:
Some websites will provide My Yahoo! as an option when adding an RSS feed. All you have to do on these sites is click a few buttons and the feed is added to your main My Yahoo! tab.
- Navigate to the website containing the RSS feed you want to add.
- Click either the RSS acronym or the
symbol. - Follow the instructions provided by the web site.
Note: If you need further assistance, contact support for that website.
Some sites have entire pages of RSS feeds, and make it easy to add them to My Yahoo! using a + My Yahoo! button on their website.
To add an RSS feed from the My Yahoo! content gallery:
- Click a tab to open the My Yahoo! page you want to add content to.
- Click Content to open the content gallery.
- Use the search box to find one or more RSS feeds:
Note: To search for all available RSS feeds, type "RSS" in the content gallery search box; or to search for a specific RSS feed, type the name for a feed (e.g., "news rss"). - Click Search.
- Click + Add for each RSS feed that you want to add to your page.
- Click I'm Done.
To add an RSS feed using its URL:
- Click a tab to open the My Yahoo! page you want to add content to.
- Click Content to open the content gallery.
- Click Add RSS Feed near the bottom-center of the gallery.
- Enter the URL of the RSS feed in the displayed box, then click Add.
- Add as much content as you like, then click I'm Done.
