Refers to: Yahoo! homepage

Resolution

You may see several types of ads in the Yahoo! news feed. All ads appear with a shaded background and the AdChoices AdChoices logo logo.

Ad types include:

  • Ads that feature an advertiser promoting a link to an article or blog.
    These ads also appear with:
-The label “Promoted by,” “Presented by” or similar text.
-The name of the advertiser promoting the link.

  • Ads that feature an advertiser sponsoring a link to their content.
    These ads also appear with:
-The label “Sponsored Content: (advertiser name).”

  • Ads that link to a website with more information about the products or services being advertised.

To determine which ads display in your Yahoo! news feed, Yahoo! looks at:

  • The relevance of your interests and the articles, blogs, and videos you read and view on Yahoo!.
  • Ads that are popular among people with your interests.
