Stock portfolio "Refresh" button not working
Description
This document addresses a known issue where the "Refresh" button/link fails to update a portfolio on a user's home page. This issue affects portfolios displayed on the "Stock Portfolios" module of a My Yahoo! or partner account home page.
Resolution
Some users have reported an inactive "Refresh" button, provided in the "Stock Portfolios" section of their My Yahoo! or partner account home page.
Workaround:
Users can click the refresh button that appears in the navigation/command toolbar for their browser or press the F5 key on their keyboard.
Alternately, users are encouraged to access their portfolios from the Yahoo! Finance page, directly. Yahoo! Finance provides a fully functioning portfolio that updates automatically with Streaming Quotes.
To access Yahoo! Finance Portfolios, refer to the following steps:
- Log in to Yahoo! Finance.
- Hover your mouse pointer over the “My Portfolios” tab.
- Select the portfolio you would like to view from the drop-down.
Status: At this time, the "Refresh" button that appears on the "Stock Portfolios" module will not refresh stock/holding prices. Our engineering staff is aware of the issue. Please refer back to this page for future updates.
