This article describes the features available in the Currencies Center.

The Yahoo! Finance Currencies Center is available by hovering your cursor over the Investing tab, and selecting Currencies. It has a several features:

Currencies Investing

The Currencies Investing section includes Flat Rate and Cross Rates views to see multiple currency conversions at once. You can also add a currency to the initial list by clicking Add Currency, located directly below the list of currency pairs. Chart previews for each currency pair can be viewed by hovering your cursor over any one of the pairs in the list.

Currency Converter

On the Currency Converter page, you will see two boxes that will default to USD United States Dollar  and EUR Euro  Click into one of the boxes and start to type in the currency you are interested in. You can search by the following criteria: Country, Capital, Currency name, Currency code, Currency symbol, or Currency nickname.

You also have the option of selecting the pull-down arrow to the right side of the box to view an A-Z list of official currencies. Once you select the two currencies, it will automatically display the conversion amounts in the boxes below the country and currency.

News & Commentary

These up-to-date headlines are available on the Currencies Center homepage below the Currencies Investing box. Expand the headlines by clicking More News & Commentary.

Economic Calendar

You can see a snapshot of the Global Economic Calendar, which displays key indicators by country. This is located directly below the News & Commentary, and can be expanded by clicking View Full Calendar.

Commodities & ETFs

The bottom most modules include pricing for relevant Commodities and ETFs. These sections can be expanded using the More Commodities and More ETFs links at the bottom of each.
