Apple iPad support on Yahoo! Finance
Description
This document provides information about support limitations for Apple iPad and the features provided for iPad and mobile phone/device users.
Resolution
Unfortunately, at this time, Yahoo! Finance does not support the Safari browser.
The browsers that are currently supported on Yahoo! Finance are:
- Internet Explorer 7.0 or newer
- Firefox 3.0 or newer
Note: the iPad does not support Adobe Flash, which is currently is used to run our Finance charts. Also, the Real-Time Quotes MarketTracker application and premium Real-Time Quotes are not available and will not function on the iPad or mobile devices. This is a PC/Mac based product that requires one of the following Java enabled browsers: Firefox 3.0+/Internet Explorer 7+.
iPad users can access market data, news, and charts, for the stocks in their portfolios, through the MarketDash app.
