MarketDash for iPad

Designed specifically for iPad and available for download in the Apple App store, the MarketDash app offers:

  • Your portfolios
  • Interactive charts
  • News
  • Market data

Adding your portfolios to MarketDash

  1. In the upper-left, tap the settings button Settings button.
  2. Tap Add More Yahoo! Finance Portfolios.
  3. Check each portfolio you want to add, then tap Save.
  4. Tap Done.

Editing a watchlist portfolio in MarketDash

  1. In the upper-left, tap the settings button .
  2. Tap the portfolio you want to edit.
  3. To delete a ticker, tap the delete button Delete button next to the ticker, and then tap Remove.
  4. Tap Done.

Navigating portfolios in MarketDash

  • At the top of the app, swipe right and left to switch between portfolios.
  • In each portfolio, swipe up and down to see all tickers.

Additional Information

Accessing Yahoo! Finance via the Safari browser on iPad provides limited functionality:

  • Only Basic charts can be viewed.
  • The MarketTracker application is not accessible on iPad or other mobile devices.

To access the desktop version of Yahoo! Finance via Safari on iPad:

  1. Go to Yahoo! Finance.
  2. Tap My Portfolios. The first portfolio in your list of portfolios loads.
  3. Tap the name of the displayed portfolio for a menu of all portfolios.

For an optimal experience, check your Safari settings:

  • From the iPad home screen, tap Settings | Safari. Here, you can take the below actions by tapping the corresponding option and following the onscreen instructions:
    • Choose to accept cookies. We recommend accepting cookies “From Visited,” which is the default.
    • Ensure that JavaScript is turned on.
    • Clear cookies and Data as necessary.
