Adding and removing symbols from Recent Quotes and the Ticker Tape

The Recent Quotes module appears on the front page of Yahoo! Finance.

• Ticker symbols added to Recent Quotes are automatically added to the Ticker Tape.
• If you remove a symbol from Recent Quotes, the symbol is also removed from the Ticker Tape.

Any symbol you search for or view is added to your Recent Quotes and Ticker Tape. To add a symbol manually:

1. Go to Yahoo! Finance.
2. Type a ticker symbol into the “Get Quotes” search box.
3. Click Get Quotes.
4. The ticker symbol is added to your Recent Quotes and Ticker Tape.

Removing symbols from Recent Quotes and the Ticker Tape:

1. Go to Yahoo! Finance.
2. Scroll down to the Recent Quotes module.
3. Click the X that appears in line with the ticker symbol you want to remove.



4. The symbol is removed from your Recent Quotes and Ticker Tape.

The ticker symbols that appear in Recent Quotes are stored in your browser's cookies. This means that you can customize Recent Quotes without being signed in to a Yahoo! account. However, if you clear your browser's cookies, all Recent Quotes will be deleted.
