Description
Learn how to access advanced portfolio settings, which allow you to:
- Adjust the currency that your portfolio displays all holdings in.
- Consolidate multiple lots of the same symbol.
- Sort positions alphabetically.

Resolution
To access and change a portfolio's advanced settings:
- Sign in to Yahoo! Finance.
- Open one of your portfolios.
- In the portfolio, to the right of the portfolio name, click Edit. The "Edit Portfolio" page loads.

- On the "Edit Portfolio" page under "Advanced Settings," you can choose to:
- Change the portfolio currency.
- All portfolio holdings are displayed in the chosen currency.
- Note: this setting cannot be changed for individual holdings.
- Consolidate multiple lots of the same symbol into one entry.
- Share lots of the same symbol are combined.
- Number of shares held is summed.
- Price paid is averaged.
- Limits, notes, and commission data for consolidated lots may not be available.
- Sort positions alphabetically by symbol.
- Change the portfolio currency.
- When you are finished, click Save.
