Stock portfolio "Refresh" button not working
This document addresses a known issue where the "Refresh" button/link fails to update a portfolio on a user's home page. This issue affects portfolios displayed on the "Stock Portfolios" module of a My Yahoo!7 or partner account home page.
Some users have reported an inactive "Refresh" button, provided in the "Stock Portfolios" section of their My Yahoo!7 or partner account home page.
Users can click the refresh button that appears in the navigation/command toolbar for their browser or press the F5 key on their keyboard.
Alternately, users are encouraged to access their portfolios from the Yahoo!7 Finance page, directly. Yahoo!7 Finance provides a fully functioning portfolio that updates automatically with Streaming Quotes.
To access Yahoo!7 Finance Portfolios, refer to the following steps:
- Log in to Yahoo!7 Finance.
- Hover your mouse pointer over the “My Portfolios” tab.
- Select the portfolio you would like to view from the drop-down.
Status: At this time, the "Refresh" button that appears on the "Stock Portfolios" module will not refresh stock/holding prices. Our engineering staff is aware of the issue. Please refer back to this page for future updates.
