Ratings are a powerful way for you to voice your opinion on the content of Answers, and determine the direction of the product. By waiting until you reach Level 2 to exercise this privilege, we encourage participation while discouraging the abuse of this privilege.

New users to Yahoo! Answers start with five questions a day so they can learn more about using this service before being unlimited in the number of questions they can ask.
