What if I am on a computer that I share?

Resolution

If you're using a public computer or share your computer with others, we recommend that you uncheck the Keep me signed in box which appears on the Sign-In page.

This option will only keep you signed in on the computer from which you enable it. So, for example, you can stay signed in on your home computer, but maintain more frequent password protection on your work or school computer.

You can change the length of time you remain signed in to Yahoo! (once you are signed in) by clicking the My Account link located at the top of most pages on the Yahoo! network. Go to the Member Information section to change the frequency whereby Yahoo! will prompt you for your password. If you do so, Yahoo! will ask you to verify your password more frequently although your sign-in screen will still indicate every "two weeks."

If you need to sign out, remember to click Sign Out, located at the top of most Yahoo! pages when you're signed in.
