Once a Yahoo! account is deleted, there is a chance that it will become available once again for registration. Note: There is no timeframe for this process, and no guarantee that a deleted Yahoo! account will become available again.
If the Yahoo! account that you want is in use or is not available at this time, you are welcome to go to the Yahoo! Registration page and sign up for an account with a variation of the name you had in mind.
To create name variations for an ID, you can try using:
- Numbers
- Adding an underscore (_) or dot (.) character
- Or try creating the ID with the "rocketmail" or "ymail" domain
In the event that none of the variation options are available, you may need to try a totally different name to use as a base for the account ID.
