This article explains how to link your Facebook or Google account to your Yahoo! account which allows you to sign into Yahoo! without using or creating a  Yahoo! ID.

Note: This process binds your Facebook or Google account to your Yahoo! ID. Please see our help article outlining how to link your Facebook feed to your Yahoo! Profile stream for that process.

To connect your Facebook or Google account to Yahoo!:

• Open the Yahoo! Sign-in page by clicking on “sign-in” on Yahoo! Homepage. Facebook or Google will prompt you to enter your Facebook or Google account ID and password, if you’re not signed in yet.
• Next you will get prompted to grant permission to share your basic Facebook or Google account data such as name, email address and date of birth.
• If your Facebook or Google account’s email address can be mapped to an existing Yahoo! account (e.g., john@yahoo.com), you will be prompted to verify your Yahoo! account password to complete the connection.
• If your Facebook or Google account’s email address cannot be mapped to an existing Yahoo! account (e.g., john@hotmail.com), you will be prompted to confirm/edit some basic account data.
• You also have the option to enable sharing of your activity on Yahoo! to your Facebook News Feed. If you choose this option, you will be able to view your Facebook News Feed on Yahoo! as well.

Note: Yahoo! currently does not support sharing of user activity on Yahoo! with Google.
