Resolution
Yahoo! Sports is closing the Sports IQ fantasy prediction game. The last day of questions will be for events on March 31, 2013. The last day the site will be accessible is April 1, 2013.
Q. Why is Yahoo! doing this?
A. Innovation requires focus. From time to time, we evaluate our offerings to ensure that they meet or exceed our users’ needs and are in a space that we want to be in. By shutting down services and features that don’t meet our criteria for success, we’re able to redouble our efforts on our core properties and services.
Q. What will happen to Challenges?
A. You will no longer be able to create a new Challenge after March 21, 2013. Any active Challenges therefore, will complete no later than March 31, 2013.
Q. What will happen to my Sports IQ scores and ranks?
A. In April 2013, your final lifetime Sports IQ score and rank will be automatically transferred to and preserved within your Fantasy Profile, but you will lose your day-by-day pick breakdown, as well as your daily, weekly, and monthly scores and ranks, and your Challenge record.
