Setting your active Fantasy Auto Racing drivers

Description

This article tells you how to move drivers from your bench to the active driver squad, and covers the change deadline.

Resolution

Before each race, you must activate a squad of four starting drivers on your Team page. This active group of Starters must include one driver from the "A" List, two from the "B" List, and one from the "C" List. The rest of your team members are on the Bench, who don't score fantasy points (except for qualifying bonus points).

To activate a driver, use the drag and drop method (the drop down method has been removed)to swap the driver between the My Bench and the My Starters section of your roster and then click "Submit."

In the example below, A.J. Allmendinger is being replaced on the "My Starters" section by Ryan Newman. This can be accomplished by left-clicking on anywhere on the driver box you want to move and dragging it to the "My Starters" section. Once you start moving a driver, the boxes where you'll have the option of dropping the driver will highlight. When the box turns green with a check mark you can successfully drop the driver to that section.

Moving a driver from the bench to the Starters

Moving a driver from the bench to the Starters and moving a driver from the Starters to the Bench works the same.

The deadline to change the status of a driver on your team from Bench to Starter is five minutes before the scheduled start of each race. View the complete schedule. If you don't make any changes, your active drivers remain the same as they were for the previous race.

These deadlines are based on the original race schedule and don't change even if there's a delay to the start or finish of a given race.
